Free mobile cricket game

Cricket WorldCup Fever is a free game made for cricket fans. Here, you can play the popular sports dressed as one of your favorite national teams in four exciting modes. You can play in the standard One-Day or Test Match cricket rules. Moreover, you can customize your game by choosing the difficulty, venues, and match duration.

Cricket WorldCup Fever presents a 3D sports ground and character models that can rival that of NHL 2K11. However, upon playing, you will find the impressive visuals as an illusion. The performance is actually poor.  The system is unresponsive: it's not playable.

What can you expect from this game?

Cricket WorldCup Fever is a game that aims to be a complete cricket game for mobile. Here, you will play dress in one of the 14 cricket national teams and play in the four (4) game modes available, namely Quick Match, Powerplay, World Cup, and the turn-based styled Pass-N-Play. As mentioned, you can choose to play the standard One-Day. You can also play the Test Match cricket rules.

Batting is simple. You only need to swipe in the direction where you'd like to swing the bat. Of course, you will have to swipe at the right time to hit the ball. The better the timing, the better you can hit the ball. And if you hit the ball, you will have more runs to make. The game allows full user control on changing batting and bowling orders.

Cricket WorldCup Fever boasts high-quality 3D characters and stadiums. It also comes with a full dynamic fielding showcased in motion-captured animations. Moreover, it has Television broadcast-style cameras and full replay mode. However, the performance gave way to better graphics. As noted, the system is unresponsive that it renders the game unplayable. There is a delay between the tapping of the screen and the movement, making the experience awkward.

Is the game good?

Visually, Cricket WorldCup Fever offers a cricket game like you've never seen before. It boasts 3D graphics that can rival popular games. It also offers various modes and options. However, a few minutes in, and you will see that the game is actually inferior. The lags are noticeable that it is impossible to make precise batting. This and the lack of official team licenses relegate this title to a measly B-grade status.
